It includes repositories that allow researchers, funding organizations, publishers, and academic institutions access to datasets and permanent preservation of those datasets. Re3data is referred to by publishers and journals including Copernicus Publishing, PeerJ, as well as Springer and Nature's Scientific Data as a tool for the quick discovery of eligible data repositories to keep research data in their editorial policies.
