Accessing Published o²S²PARC Simulations
The SPARC Portal lets you view, interact with, and run several template computational pipelines that SPARC teams have published.
Accessing o²S²PARC from the SPARC Portal
From the SPARC Portal, you can view, interact with, and run several template computational pipelines that SPARC teams have published.
Getting Started
By clicking on the Run Simulation button, you can directly jump into the associated simulation pipeline on the o²S²PARC platform. Upon doing so, you will be logged into the platform with an anonymous user status, which allows you to operate within the accessed study (change parameters, run simulations, view data, 3D models, results, etc.). What you will be able to modify or view will depend on the specific pipeline, as well as what the study creator has chosen to allow.
Anonymous Mode
A list of tutorials is provided on our o²S²PARC documentation website under “ISAN Studies & Tutorials.” There you can find more information about some of the existing simulation datasets on the SPARC Portal, for example, the SPARC Nerve Activity Predictor that Dr. Matt Ward from Purdue University contributed. In this pipeline, double-clicking on the main computational node will bring you to a GUI where you can choose data to load, edit multiple parameters, run the machine-learning-based model, and view the results.
When accessing studies as an "Anonymous User" through the SPARC Portal, the accessible functionality is a study-specific subset of the full platform functionality. Features such as setting up new or modifying existing studies, operating in the Dashboard, or using your own Jupyter notebooks, etc. are not available without a personal account.
