Publishing costs for the SPARC Portal

1. Assess your project data sharing and management plans.

2. See if your project fits the Mission of SPARC.

3. If you have human subjects, review our policy about sharing of Protected Health Information (PHI) HIPAA .

4. Understand that your published data, models, and devices must meet SPARC standards.

5. Include SPARC in your grant, and let us know that you have set aside data sharing funds for SPARC (email us at [email protected] or submit a data/model request).

📘

The NIH SPARC program is covering the cost of data/model curation and submission of datasets up to 100 GB until May 1 2025. After that time, SPARC will need to collect funds from those submitting data to defray curation, repository, maintenance, and other operating costs. Please consider including us in your grants for future projects using the information below as a guideline.
