# SPARC Supported Consortia 

SPARC supports multiple communities. Talk to us if you would like to discuss supporting yours as well.

The [SPARC Data and Resource Center (DRC)](https://sparc.science/about/team-and-leadership) are on a mission to provide neuroscience researchers with an open platform and ecosystem of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data, models, associated tools, and procedures. SPARC serves as an open repository, filling a vital niche in the current neuroscience repository ecosystem by providing a dedicated space for data, models, and tools focused on the peripheral nervous system (PNS), organ physiology, and PNS-CNS (central nervous system) interactions. 

The DRC supports multiple consortia in addition to the original SPARC program, a major step towards long-term sustainability.

These consortia support <Anchor target="_blank" href="https://sparc.science/about/what-we-offer">services</Anchor> provided by SPARC experts such as data publication and curation, ontology and knowledge management, hosting of online analysis pipelines, knowledge graphs of connectivity and cell types, and modeling the body at different scales.
